DirectXscreensavers.com and BlueSubstance.com are managed by the same people.

Short History:

BlueSubstance.com was formed in 2002. By end 2003, we've produced 8 screensavers and a number of custom screensavers for companies.
An upgrade of our server bandwidth was inevitable due to high download demands. Instead of just upgrading our hosting plan, we signed up a new hosting company, thus a new domain name was needed.

Nothing is Free?:

All screensavers here are free to users. We're doing this as a means to advertise ourselves, driving traffic to BlueSubstance.com
